Argon gas is often filled between two panes of glass to increase energy efficiency. Argon is inexpensive, non-toxic and odorless which makes it a perfect choice for glass pane filling. Here, a QKL electronic pressure regulator (I/P converter) assembly is controlling both vacuum and positive argon pressure for filling the window. This pressure regulator can pull a vacuum on the window to vacate excess air. Then a different command is given to fill with high pressure argon.
Our proportional pressure regulator is best suited for this application due to its high flow rate, fast response time, and high accuracy. Our regulators are capable of modulating from 2 bar to 65 bar with accuracy of 0.25% FS. (higher pressure range can be customised upon request)
